My name is Jesus Zambrano Pisani. I was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and moved to Orlando, Florida, in 2018. Due to political and personal circumstances under Nicolás Maduro's regime, my family was forced to seek asylum in the United States.
When we arrived, finding clear and reliable information about the immigration process was extremely difficult. The lack of accessible resources led us to make mistakes that negatively affected our case — consequences we still face today.
I often think about how different our journey could have been if we had access to the right guidance from the beginning. That experience inspired me to create Open Rep USA.
